About Marilyn

I am a freelance indexer. I started my professional career as a technical writer, writing computer software manuals for programmers. I traded my technical writing career for my career as an indexer so that I can work at home and set my own hours. I am very detail-oriented, organized, and catch typos quickly. My boss used to call me Eagle Eye Marilyn, especially when I spotted typos looking at text upside down across the table from him. Now, I use my traits to produce quality indexes for editors and authors. As a technical writer, I learned how important deadlines are.
